CO2 Fractionation

Efficiently remove bulk CO2 from natural gas stream with high levels of CO2

Ortloff Dual Refrigerant CO2 Fractionation (DRCF) processes provides bulk CO2 removal from natural gas streams extremely high in CO2 content, and recovers the CO2 as a liquid product while reducing energy consumption. DRCF can remove CO2 down to 18% in the residue gas stream without freezing. DRCF coupled with a physical solvent, like Selexol™, or a membrane system can then polish the residue gas stream removing the remaining CO2 to less than 2%.
